​My name is Alexandra Prieditis
I am a staunch human rights activist, a fierce advocate for personal freedom/personal choice. The government should never have control over our life decisions-- ever.
I know what it feels like to be unheard, to feel like the government doesn't see or care about you. That is why I am running for Congress in Michigan's 7th District!
To fight for the underrepresented, to make sure YOU are heard, and to bring real change to our communities.
I am not a career politician. I am a normal person, like you, who is tired of waiting for change to come home. I am here to stand up for everyday people, to challenge the powerful, and to fight for a government that actually works for us.
Our freedoms, our rights, and our very humanity are under attack but together, we are unstoppable. It is time to take our power back.
KEY PoLICY TARGETS
Michigan and the 7th Congressional District face serious ”challenges" that demand bold leadership and real representation. I know what it feels like to believe the government doesn't seem to see you, represent you, or care about you. That is why I am running: to fight for YOU.
For all of US THE PEOPLE!
1. Defending Personal Freedom & Choice
The government should never have control over your personal life decisions. Ever. Whether it’s your body, your healthcare, your family, or your future, those choices belong to you—not politicians. I will fight to protect and expand personal freedoms for all.
2. Fighting for Human Rights & Representation
I am a staunch human rights activist, and my work in this fight will only strengthen, deepen, and continue.
I will stand up for the underrepresented, the unheard, and the forgotten.
I will fight against discrimination, oppression, and attacks on human dignity.
Every voice in our district deserves to be heard and I will make sure of it.
3. Fixing Michigan's Water Crisis
Clean water is a human right. Flint's water crisis should have never happened, and yet, communities across Michigan from Detroit to rural area's still face unsafe water.
Corporations polluting our Great Lakes and rivers must be held accountable. They are polluting our vital water sheds with forever chemicals like PFAS. The Huron River System is in SHAMBLES. The ecosystem needs our IMMEDIATE ATTENTION!
I will fight for federal funding to modernize Michigan's water systems and protect our drinking water.
4. Supporting Small Businesses & Economic Fairness

Michigan's small businesses are the backbone of our economy. We need fair markets, fewer bureaucratic obstacles, and economic policies that put "everyday people first”not just big corporations.
The wealthy and powerful must pay their fair share. It's time to stop rigging the system against working families.
5. Reforming Healthcare & Tackling the Opioid Crisis

Our healthcare system is failing too many people. We need more hospitals, more resources, and better access to care, especially in rural areas.
The opioid crisis has devastated Michigan communities. I will fight to hold Big Pharma and corrupt politicians accountable for their role in this crisis. Healthcare is a human right. I genuinely believe that. A country should NEVER be judged or assessed by its wealthiest citizens, but how we help, treat, aid and support those MOST in need.
6. Protecting Michigan's Farmers & Rural Communities

We must invest in infrastructure, broadband, and healthcare access for rural communities.Our farmers deserve grants, assistance, and fair markets to keep Michigan's agricultural industry thriving. The revoking of promised grants, aid, programs-- ends now. I will FIGHT to support those who fight to feed America.
7. Taking the Power Back from Career Politicians

Corporate lobbyists and political elites do not represent us.
The two-party system is failing us. We need independent voices who "fight for the people”not for party bosses.

ABOUT ME
Born and raised in Michigan, I’ve always had a deep love for my home state and the people in it. In high school, I was an All-State volleyball player, and later, I studied graphic design in college. I entered the advertising industry, but quickly realized it wasn’t for me. Art had always been my passion, but in that world, it felt like manipulation—a waste of my talents. Instead, I followed a deeper calling: to help others.
From a young age, I have been a deeply compassionate and empathetic person. I understand struggle because I’ve lived it—mentally, emotionally, and in the many roles I’ve taken on throughout my 37 years. These experiences give me a unique ability to relate to others, to put myself in their shoes, and to recognize what’s broken in our system. I believe our schools, our communities, and our healthcare system fail to prepare people for the realities of life. Too many of us are left struggling when we shouldn’t have to.
I am a problem solver. I thrive in teamwork, organizing, and tackling complex challenges. When I set my mind to something, I accomplish it—because failure is not an option when the stakes are this high. Whether I win this election or not, I am committed to learning, growing, and evolving to better serve all of us.
The truth is, the American Dream has become out of reach for too many. We are told to work harder while the rich get richer off our backs. We live paycheck to paycheck, drowning in debt, while politicians wage endless wars for power and profit. We know this system is rigged—on both sides. The two-party system isn’t broken; it’s working exactly as designed: to divide us, to keep us angry, afraid, and distracted while they maintain control.
That’s why I’m running as an independent. They make it hard on purpose—because neither party wants real change. But we, the people, have the power to take this moment, this energy, and turn it into something unstoppable. I believe in us. I believe in America. I believe in justice, in learning from the past, and in building a future where we all have the opportunity to thrive.
It’s time for real, radical change. It’s been time. Turn off the noise. Stand with me now. Vote for me. Vote for all of us!!!
